We will learn all about using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, starting with an introduction of all the features and capabilities, then we guide you through simple and advanced creation & configuration of a Repository file (RPD) The student will be taught how to design and configure an RPD file, starting with a blank file and ending with a fully functioning RPD running on an OBIEE server.

Each section will introduce a topic with discussion on how to configure it, with easy to follow video instructions allowing the student to build a working RPD file. The RPD will be built up piece by piece throughout the course.

We have developed the course in two sections, this first section covers the basic and our second covers more advanced topics.

The approach that we use to teach you will predominantly be via video based demonstrations with theoretical introductions. You will be required to follow our hands-on video demonstrations to build a working example of an RPD file. The topics we cover in the basics will slowly be built up and continued in more advanced topics.

Focusing primarily on the Oracle technology stack during my career I have transitioned from intern-ships with New Zealand based start-ups focusing on Database modelling and development to working for large government agencies and blue-chip clients as an Oracle Business Intelligence Consultant, building reporting solutions with multi-million dollar budgets.

I now contract to European companies as an Oracle Data Warehouse developer.

My certifications include Oracle Business Intelligence 11g Implementation Specialist, Microsoft Dynamics CRM application development & Sharepoint.
